Ship Button

Send your work to GitHub and open a pull request without touching the command line.

How to Use It

  1. Click the Ship button in the bottom status bar
  2. Vibecheck runs a quick readiness check — it will flag anything that needs attention before doing anything
  3. Once you give the go-ahead, Vibecheck handles everything: saves your work, grabs the latest changes, resolves conflicts, pushes to GitHub, and opens a pull request

That's it!

It's Not Working

"I have uncommitted changes"

You have work that hasn't been saved yet. Let Vibecheck commit it for you — it will prompt you to confirm before it does anything.

"There are merge conflicts"

Your changes overlapped with earlier work. Vibecheck will try to resolve these automatically using Claude. If it can't, ask Claude: "I have merge conflicts, can you resolve them?"

The Ship button is grayed out or missing

Vibecheck may not have detected a GitHub connection. Ask Claude: "I don't see the Ship button in Vibecheck — can you check my GitHub setup?"

It pushed but no pull request appeared

Ask Claude: "Vibecheck pushed my code but didn't create a pull request — can you check what happened?"

Something failed partway through

Vibecheck will show you where it stopped and why. Read the message — if it's not clear, ask Claude: "Vibecheck stopped during shipping with this message: [paste the message]."
